Email Marketing is a very interesting game and without having the right know how it can be very frustrating. Just to get one thing straight I am going to be discussing how to create email marketing campaigns that make money and this is created for those of us that actually build our own lists not the individuals that pay for or rent lists.
I do not agree with buying or renting lists because it is a waste plus you never know when you will be accused of spamming. Stay with creating your own list and you will see greater results. So onto the article.
If you want to begin making email marketing campaings that make money you have to first begin creating a list. This is not a hard thing to do if you already have a website and an autoresponder.
The autoresponder should have a web form you can create from their website. When you put this code into your site you will either get a block of text with a form that will allow someone to join your list, a popup, or an exit popup depending on what options you have chosen.
Then, when someone subscribes to your list they will be put into your database with your autoresponder. You can create as many emails as you want in your autoresponder to automatically be sent to your new members. Once it is created your work is done.
The second thing you need to do is figure out that you cannot over sell to your members. Three emails a week maximum is a good rule of thumb, unless you are giving away a free 7 day training courseor something like that.
The last thing you have to realize is that if you continually promote to your subscribers without providing any usable content for them you will lose readers very fast and end up losing subscribers. You have to give them some content.
It is easy to give them content anyway. Just go to a free article site and find a good article or two a week to suggest that they read. You could also give them a free eBook download as well.
Whatever you decide to do, remember these tips and you will have better luck at making more wealth when you create email marketing campaigns. The money truly is in the list so start creating yours today and by this time next month you should have a very large list to market to.
